Turbo. DOB 5 September 1990.

Turbo (Sentryedge Grouse) was our first Curly, a liver dog bred by Thelma Hallawell (probably better known for Bloodhounds). Turbo gained 1 CC and his SGWC. Unfortunately he never got the other 2 to make him up to champion.

His greatest love was working, and we would spend most weekends in the pheasant season, on the shoot in Shropshire. Anthony & Elaine Robinson would put us up for the weekend, then back to work on Monday. Turbo was one of the few Curlies to compete in field trials.

Turbo also appointed himself my personal guard. No one could speak to me if we were out after dark, not advisable in this anti-dog age.

Sadly in 2000, Turbo developed cancer at 9 years of age, which cut short his otherwise healthy life. He left a huge gap in our lives.
